For New Members

Welcome to Park Ridge

Board meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 7:00PM in the clubhouse.  Members are encouraged to attend. The exceptions are the AGM which is always on the last Sunday of April at 3:00PM.

The invoices for the dues are mailed out in January and should be paid by March 15th anyone who has not paid their dues will not be allowed at the AGM.

Gate cards can be obtained from either the Treasurer or Secretary at a cost of $50.00 if you have a card that does not work anymore you may exchange it for a new one free of charge.

Mailboxes inside the gate can be purchased from the Secretary at a cost of $50.00 (one-time fee).

The call box is the first box you come to at the gate and can be used to remotely open the gate for your guest rather than waiting at the gate for them to arrive.  If you are interested in signing up the cost is $20 initially and $20 annually, invoiced through annual dues statements.  The Call Box can be programmed with 540 or 826 area code phone numbers, landline or mobile. For more information, please email parkridgedevelopment@gmail.com.

The speed limit is 15 miles per hour there are children at play, people walking their dogs etc.

The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, if you have visitors who want to use the pool unless they are immediate family there is a fee of $3.00 per person and they must be accompanied by a Park Ridge member.

The same rules apply to fishing except the cost is $1.00 per person.

The clubhouse is open to all members if you would like to use it for a function you cannot formally reserve it but there is a calendar on the notice board in the clubhouse which you can put your name on the date of your choosing and other people will respect that. The cost is $1.00 per person and you will need to notify a board member if you would like to use the kitchen and/or have the gate left open for the day.

There are two workdays each year in April and October, a free hot lunch is provided for the volunteers, the dates will be posted on the website and in the newsletter, it is a good way to meet people and do some good for the community.

You do need to haul your own trash, there is a site just off 221, across from Dollar General.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact a board member you can email at parkridgedevelopment@gmail.com
